Mr. Jeremy Bradham
Mr. Jeremy Bradham - Principal
Mr. Bradham grew up in Webb City, MO. He has degrees from Missouri Southern State University, Northwest Missouri State University, and William Woods University. This will be his 20th year in public education. He taught and coached at Antioch Middle School/Oak Park High School in the North Kansas City School District for 10 years. He was an assistant principal at Eastgate Middle School (NKCSD) for 4 years, and this will be his 6th year as principal at Liberty Middle School.
He loves to spend time with his wife, Jené, and 12 year old son, Jude (going into 7th grade). He has a passion to find ways to help students thrive. He said "I am very proud of the LMS community. Our mission is to inspire and equip students to discover their voice and unlimited potential. We prepare our students to Lead and Learn like Blue Jays." He is excited for the upcoming school year and looks forward to making sure that all of our students and their families know that Liberty Middle School is right where they belong.
Mrs. Shirley Kantola
Mrs. Shirley Kantola- Assistant Principal
Mrs. Kantola is from Tokeka, Kansas. She attended college at Kansas State University. This is her 27th year in education and her 12th year at Liberty Middle School. She states, "I got into teaching because of my 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Swartz. She was so kind and knew me well and I wanted to be a teacher just like her. I love the connection we get to make with students and parents. At middle school every day is a new day which is great! It is really fun to watch students grow and mature as they go from 6th to 8th grade, there's nothing like it!" In her spare time she enjoys racing with her nephews and shopping.
Fun fact -Mrs. Kantola is a twin and used to drive a school bus during her summer camp job.
Mrs. Morgan Dawson
Mrs. Morgan Dawson- Administrative Intern and 7th Grade Math
Mrs. Dawson is from Liberty. She has a bachelors in elementary education form University of Sioux Falls, a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Northwest Missouri State University, and a Specialist & EdD from William Woods University. She has been in education for 6 years and this is her second year at LMS. Mrs. Dawson states, "I love being a small part in every students journey. Watching student grow and evolve over their middle school years is incredibly rewarding. Every students path is different, and that's what makes this job so fun!" Mrs. Dawson was a Liberty Middle School student from 2006 to 2008. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
