Need to Update Health Records?
Updated records may be submitted through:
- email records to nurse
- sent in with student and dropped off in the nurse's office
- dropped off at the school during school hours.
What is the Tylenol Policy?
Regular strength Tylenol is available starting in the 6th grade and can be given to a student ONLY with the signed permission waiver from the parent or guardian. Tylenol will be monitored and parents notified of frequent visits/request for Tylenol.
What Health Screenings Take Place?
Height and Weight will be done in conjunction with PE teacher and curriculum
6th Grade
- Scoliosis (Girls only) - students will be screened at the end of first semester.
7th Grade
- Vision/Hearing - students will be screened at the beginning of the first semester
8th Grade
- Scoliosis Girls and Boys - students will be screened at the end of first semester.

The nurse will frequently communicate resources for free clinics to those still in need of the requirements.
Fall Immunization Clinic
On-site school immunization clinics are coming to LMS on 9/26/24! They are a convenient way for parents to get required and recommended vaccines for their child without having to miss work or their student to miss school. The assurance of meeting school vaccine requirements without waiting in long lines a week or two before school starts is a win-win for everyone!
The vaccines being offered for Middle School are as follows:
- Tdap (required)
- Meninogococcal ACWY (required)
- HPV9
- Influenva
